40 analog photographs

20 cm x 60 cm each

Collection of the Centro Galego de Arte Contemporánea (CGAC). Santiago de Compostela (Spain)

Tempo Morto is composed of 40 photographs which were selected from a total of more than 480. Each shoot corresponds to a different day, but always to the same time of the day (between 19:07 to 19:15). The time of shooting corresponded to the approaching of the boat to a lighthouse which lies in the middle of Vigo bay. The shooting goal is always the same: the lighthouse and the horizon. I began the performance on April 25 th. The performance took place during 40 consecutive days.
