Talking to Myself derives from a previous project in which I installed a series of strategically placed illuminated posters at various bus stops in the city of Seattle. These posters not only posed questions but also invited individuals to engage in spontaneous and domestic self-analysis. Those same questions now form the core of the performance. When was I consistent for the last time? When was I optimistic for the last time? When was I sincere for the last time? When was I generous for the last time? When was I loyal for the last time? When was I courageous for the last time?
